In times of high uncertainty, government and commercial organizations need leaders who are comfortable with complexity and ambiguity and at the same time inspire their staff to follow them through the rough times: The recent melt-down of the world’s financial markets requires new answers to the pure Shareholder Value focus of the previous period, the role of emerging markets needs to be constantly redefined, the changing personal value system of communities in Africa need to be addressed, diversity issues need to be managed with care and tolerance, not to mention political changes on the continent. These are just a few issues the current generation of leaders is facing. This course will provide answers on how to deal with them, be an authentic and natural leader that inspires confidence, creating a workplace where people feel at home and enjoy work.
