We do not grow by finding the answers but by sitting with the questions - Max Dupree

Master craftsmen, musicians and sport stars have for years improved their performance and transferred their skills and experiences to others through coaching and modern day executives are today embracing this concept to improve performance and achieve beyond expectations! This experiential workshop introduces the coaching process and demonstrates practical benefits to the organisation, the client and the coach.

Coaching is a conversation for insight, relationship, possibility, change and action. It expands people's “way of being” so that more possibilities become available both professionally and personally. The workshop enables the coach to develop effective skills which will enable the coachee to be the continual generator of more effective and conscious behavioural strategies.

Rather than being a 'quick fix' for problems, coaching is about building competence and resources through self-observation, awareness and conscious practice. In the workshop we will focus on coaching skills to enable the coach to provide a growth and learning context, producing a potentially powerful learning for the coachee. The products of mastering these coaching skills will be to provide sustainable performance, self-correction and self-generation.

This two-day practical workshop is designed to introduce helpful models and frameworks of coaching that can apply to both coaching for individuals as well as teams. A practical coaching process case-study is discussed, as well as the impact of coaching on job performance. The module ends with self-assessment and goal setting by the coach, as well as an opportunity to assess and give feedback. The workshop is aimed at all managers, leaders and anyone in the organisation that works with influence, people growth, job performance and transference of skills.
