Mervyn
King consults and advises on corporate legal issues. He is recognised internationally as an expert on corporate governance and sustainability. He sits as an arbitrator and as a mediator. He is a founding member of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa and for some eight years was the South African judge at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris. He has acted as an Inspector of Companies and a Commissioner of Inquiries into the affairs of companies. He has chaired many meetings for the compromise of creditors of companies and the rearrangement of shareholders’ interests. He has spoken at conferences and lectured on corporate issues in 38 countries. He is a regular speaker on radio and television talk shows and ran his own television series, “King on Governance”.
Ewald Müller is currently Senior Executive: Standards at SAICA and a Summit TV anchor.
He has extensive experience spanning the banking industry, investment analysis, investor relations and financial media. His passion lies in promoting financial literacy to users of financial and related information and developing the understanding of strategic and sustainable development issues. Ewald is an accomplished public speaker who has spoken at events such as the Stern Stewart International Finance Summit in Cape Town and the M&A Conference in Johannesburg in 2008 and the recent UNEP Global Round Table in Cape Town. Ewald is a member of the
Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, the
Investment Analysts Society of South Africa, the
South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the
King Committee on Corporate Governance.
